After graduating from Philadelphia College of Art for Illustration, I completed a two year tattoo apprenticeship. In 1997, I opened Inkstop Tattoo and have been have been working hard to grow the Inkstop brand and its reputation ever since. I believe this is done by working with each customer closely and placing the emphasis on high quality artwork for every design. I can work in all styles but specialize in fine line, detailed and realistic pieces.

I've been with Inkstop since 2006. My skills include a wide variety of styles. I enjoy working on creative projects with clients to put out original and attractive artwork  we can both be proud of. My style of drawing is more of an Animation/Graffiti street style art but I'm quite capable of handling realistic subjects. I like to focus on my style of Japanese themed artwork, Pin Ups and creative characters as well as Science Fiction/Horror movie characters. I also like working on New Age/Mythology and Religious themed subject matter.

Originally from the south, Terry Tapp is a lifelong artist who works in a variety of media. His drawings and paintings are exhibited internationally and his comics and graphic works can be seen in numerous publications and venues. While much of his work could be called  "surrealist," Terry enjoys pursuing many different approaches to making art. Tattooing is unique among the types of art he creates as it requires working one-on-one with a customer to craft a piece of art. He finds all approaches to tattooing exciting though realism and portraiture are his favorites.
